2 BEAUTIFUL
Music
lovers are in for a special evening as West Coast Classical collaborates with
Sunday Night Singers presenting Gabriel
Fauré’s
most loved “Fauré’s Requiem.” This incredible work has been performed and
cherished by musicians and choirs for more than a century, and stands out for
its transcendent beauty, peacefulness, and serenity. Faure, who died in 1924,
was one of the foremost French composers of his generation and his musical
style influenced many 20
th-Century composers.
Sunday
Night Singers is the Antelope Valley’s premier choral organization established
in 2005 by Artistic Director, Mike McCullough and his previous high school
students. Over the years, the group has provided a place for musicians to hone
their skills and become successful musicians and professionals. SNS Choirs now
consists of two choirs, The Sunday Night Singers and SNS Chorale.
The
evening will also include some of your favorite classical music performed by
West Coast Classical Concert and Symphonic Orchestras.
